Dear ballooning friends,
Are you ready for another uplifting and unforgettable experience with us? With a new location, a more diverse program than ever before, and the familiar memorable moments, Transylvania’s oldest hot air balloon festival, the seventeenth edition of the Hot Air Balloon Parade, awaits you. Balloonists from both sides of the border – a total of fifteen – will gather this time near the village of Nyárádköszvényes in Mureș County, adjacent to Mătrici, easily accessible from the Main Road. While hot air balloons are spectacular on their own, the enchantment of flying with them is unparalleled.
To ensure that as many as possible can partake in this magic, this year we offer two types of experiences.
• Free Flights – subject to prior registration – Lasts between 20-60 minutes (Depending on weather conditions)
• Tethered Flights – sign-up available on-site only – Lasts between 5-10 minutes (Depending on weather conditions)
Our event provides excellent entertainment for the whole family: children’s programs, concerts, retro parties, fairs, and other surprises await the interested audience.
